The library is divided in four main categories to facilitate access to documents. Each category is then divided by topic  (i.e. Water and sanitation, Climate change, Environment. Energy and waste and other).

The Nauru category groups reports and documents directly related to Nauru. The Regional and Global categories respectively displayed documentation related to the Pacific region and the world. The Education and Training category is especially designed for teachers and parents who want to develop learning activities around water and environmental issues.
